What must Klopp do to get a better grip on the English Premier League title? Well, last night his chest pumping wasn’t working, but I’m sure more control of the game would have led to a more expected result.

It was almost all Leicester City when they travelled to Anfield and met up with the Reds. The perfect chance to create a greater gap of seven points between the leaders and the runners-up. Shamefully and inequity did an imperfect job of stretching the gap to only five points.

Snowy and unbearable playing surface brought about a fair game between the Reds and the Foxes. An early Sadio Mane goal was cancelled out by a late first-half equaliser by central defender, Harry Maguire in the 47th minute of extra time.

A first and unmentioned by many, a couple of calls went against the home side. A penalty decision on Naby Keita and an offside call on Mane, that was nowhere near offside. Although the Reds were unfortunate with all these judgment calls, Leicester was the better team coming out of the dressing rooms for the second period.

A fair result with many of the Foxes believing they should have come away with more on the night, but a point was good enough inside the fortress that’s seen Liverpool go 33 games undefeated after last night.

The hiccup keeps the chase alive

Why’re the five points not that much? I mean, if City were in the position Liverpool’s in now, the world would be indisputably sure of them heading for their second title in successive campaigns.

Rightly, this doubt has been brought into consideration because of the all the seasons Liverpool came so close but failed in every attempt to clinch that elusive Premier League crown. Again we bring up the 2013/2014 run with the deadly SAS that led the line.

In those days Liverpool sat in a similar position with little left to do but lift the title. They went and did the exact opposite and dropped the title. This gives many the belief things have the possibility of turning out the same.

Klopp feels strongly about the position they in and disagrees with the rest of the footballing world. It is Liverpool’s title to lose. One hand is on the trophy, trying to get a firm grip, while they try to bring the other hand on it, steading the cup with a firm grip. In an effort to bring it to Anfield.
