Big news for the Gunners worldwide, as a surprising link picks up the pace and becomes more of a reality each time.
The South American’s been linked with many moves to the English Premier League afore this strong links to the Emirates stadium. James Rodriguez has had a back and forth time after his move to Real Madrid.
How James life at Madrid went; The Columbian was signed by the Spanish giants after a stellar 2014 World Cup. After signing for Real, the attacker stayed at the Bernabeu for three consecutive seasons, with his first season being the most lucrative.
It was the only term Rodriguez was able to reach double figures in goals scored. But this was only because of him receiving less game time and a change of management after Madrid sacked Carlos Ancelotti.
Having been limited to 22 appearances in the campaign of 2016/2017, under Zinedine Zidane, the player felt he needed to go abroad for regular first-team football at the highest level. This is where he left and followed Carlos to German giants, Bayern Munich. Currently there and in his second and final term at the club, he must be viewing his options.
During this time the potent forward was in the mix with another team in red but not in London. The team who were strongly associated with Rodriguez was Arsenal rivals, Liverpool. With the Reds, you always have to take their transfer links with a pinch of salt. They get linked to the world, yet the Reds has a certain transfer brand, James was never in that brand.
Arsenal are prepared to offer Mesut Ozil to Bayern Munich as part of a deal to tempt James Rodriguez to England, according to reports in Spain today.

How’s Arsenal’s tie to James better?
For one… Reports suggest the parent club want him to either remain in Germany or head over to the English Premier League, with the latter said to be the preferable option. The only sure thing that will not be happening – his loan spell will not be cut short even though there is trouble over at Real Madrid.
Munich has the option to make the move permanent, however, this is the most likely thing not to happen. This is because of Bayern’s strong interest in English youngster, Callum Hudson-Odoi. If the deal goes through, James will find himself in a similar situation as he did at Real Madrid.
Arsenal is said to be looking for a swap deal that involves Mesut Ozil going in the opposite direction. However, it was reported that Arsenal’s North London rivals could be looking for a swap deal as well, with Christian Eriksen the bargaining chip for Spurs.
Less than 10 days left so there is time for a lot to happen. We could very well be seeing James in the English Premier League soon cause Real Madrid do not want him back.
