It’s the second leg of the EFL Cup semifinals and Man City is the only team who’s certain of a place in the final, while Burton knows there’s no room left for them to play with.

Man City sits in the seats at Wembley Stadium waiting for an opponent from the other fixture, which has a leader but not a winner. The leaders, Spurs have all sorts of worry and know that their single goal lead can perish if they not careful at the Bridge on Thursday night.

Thankfully for all, City’s no-brainer against Burton will be played first of the two, this coming Wednesday. Thereafter, we have the London derby, something that hasn’t been short of supply this season as the paper view match.

Chelsea’s squad currently sits in Sarri custody, while Mauricio Pochettino sits patiently in the waiting room for his injured players. It has literally unfolded to be one of the best semifinals in recent times. Let’s run down the two semis coming up this week.
