Trent Alexander-Arnold: Contract renewals for fullbacks displays bright future for Reds

His contract keeps him at Anfield till the year 2024, extending his stay at the club for another five years extra. Can you see this young man one day wearing the club’s armband?

Seeing that he has been with the Reds since he was the tender age of 6, he could well be on his way to becoming the next longterm captain of Liverpool. That’s if he is to follow in the footsteps of others like, Stevie G and Jamie Carragher, who are legends of the football club, running the gauntlet just as Trent did.

He is the proof, if what it is happening at Liverpool continues for the next 10 years or so, Liverpool will mount serious challenges more than often. The club has been building and the building appears to be inches away from completion.
