The second contract renewal in one week for the Reds. No time-wasting as the Reds tie up all loose ends, getting Trent Alexander-Arnold to commit his far future to Anfield.

Yes, Trent Alexander-Arnold follows Andrew Robertson and a handful of other first-teamers, who have taken the plunge and dedicated their near and far future to Liverpool. Since making significant signings in a series of transfer windows leading to the date, Liverpool’s business has been trying keeping all at the club happy, and even just trying to hold onto to all of them.

Klopp and the board, along with Michael Edwards have been hard at work creating the dynasty that once was Liverpool Football Club. It’s taken a long time to get the Merseyside club on its feet, costing them some world-class players and many heart breaks when ending second place or nowhere close to any Champions League spot.

Since Klopp came in and took over, things have shaped up and arranged itself in an orderly fashion. Anfield got an upgrade, the owners FSG got in some in new sponsorships, and the club has been booming ever since. A couple of new ideas and a better identity on the pitch and the Reds are somewhat on track but have stumbled off the road, with a flat tire here and a knock there.
