Expecting crazy scenes at the Etihad Stadium later this evening in Monday Night Football. Is Pep’s Man City ready to conclude Matchday 22, three points closer to title-rivals Liverpool?

It’s everything or nothing! It’s been that way since Matchday 1 for both, champions Manchester City and log leaders, Liverpool. Pep’s challengers led the way on Saturday installing pressure on the City dressing room with a narrow victory over Brighton.

City, however, kept their second-place spot on the Premier League table, after yesterday’s Wembley clash between Tottenham and United, dealt Spurs a blow. Even though the latter result counted in favour of the previous champs, the cause for three points is there to close the gap on the Premier League leaders.

If City takes all the points in this one, it will surely become a two-horse race, with them leaving Spurs behind. Nevertheless, after tonight’s duel between Man City and Wolves concludes Matchday 22, we will have 15 games which have 45 points left to play. Anything can happen between then and now, with so much room for error.

There’s only one thing for certain… Both Liverpool and Manchester City are as consistent as water this run of the English Premier League.
