A bottom-table battle featuring fourth last Cardiff City and last place Huddersfield. It pretty much seems as if this is the swansong for the Terriers.

Cardiff City plays the league in a position nobody predicted at the start of the season. Whereas Huddersfield, they play the part to the T, with only 10 points on the board. The magic number not so magical in this late stage of the campaign.

Wagner’s men must win now and every game. Cardiff must ward off the Saints and Fulham, who can easily get their hands on 17th place if Cardiff drop points. It’s all or nothing for these two. Wagner will be hoping his new inclusion of Jason Puncheon can hopefully boost his attacking power.

Brighton vs. Liverpool

Liverpool leads the way in the league and in the race for the top spot. A chance to take themselves six points clear till tomorrow, and seven points clear till Monday when City play chase again. The real question here is, can Liverpool win it with so many injuries at the back?

Last season Klopp boldly played with Georginio Wijnaldum as one of his centre-backs in this fixtures. It paid off, masterfully. The Reds ended up beating the Seagulls 5-1 with the makeshift. Will the result end the same this run out? Not sure with Brighton really bringing the hurt this season.

Taking on the best manager and player for the month of December, Chris knows he has his back up against the wall but can take advantage of a wounded Liverpool.

Feel for a Liverpool win. It took City to break them but are they really broken?

Brighton 0-2 Liverpool
