We back to Premier League action after a week’s break of FA Cup disturbance. A better view than the dreadful and unwelcomed international break.

What a fun view of the FA Cup it was while we took a break from this intense Premier League. The most magical moments of the cup was how those minnow teams claimed the scalps of the Premier League powerhouses.

Now for certain clubs like Liverpool and Fulham being out the cup doesn’t seem all that bad. They both have their individual reasons to be thankful for not progressing through to the 4th Round of the FA Cup.

The former, a tight four-point gap at the summit of the table must be maintained for the remaining 16 fixtures. Klopp had to have asked himself, “Klopp to self! Do you think that was such a bad thing now that we can focus on the Premier League and Champions League, only?” Many can agree the Reds are two slips away from having another trophyless campaign. Others can argue, the less they have to worry about the better.

With Fulham, on the other hand, they have to concentrate on nothing else but the league. At the threat of being relegated after only just being promoted is not what spending over a £100 million is supposed to get you.

Does QPR ring any bells?

Wagner and Huddersfield can shake hands with the Craven crowd. They too can be thankful they are out of the only thing stopping them from being fully focused on the league. So where will I be, come Saturday lunchtime? Right in front of the telly soaking in all the football, my eyes desire.

Saturday Matchday 22 fixtures

West Ham vs. Arsenal
Burnley vs. Fulham
Crystal Palace vs. Watford
Cardiff City vs. Huddersfield
Brighton vs. Liverpool
Leicester City vs. Southampton
Chelsea vs. Newcastle

West Ham vs. Arsenal

The first of the day surely has to be the best of the day. Not only does it involve two London clubs bringing us the second London derby in as many weeks of domestic fun, but it also welcomes the re-entry of Samir Nasri, who makes his debut for West Ham against his first Premier League club, Arsenal.

How will this one go for Unai Emery and how will this one fair for Manuel Pellegrini? Arsenal hasn’t seen the same faulty fate in this fixture as they use to. They haven’t lost any of the last four London fixtures played out between these two. The reverse fixture saw the Emirates rejoice for a Gunners 4-1 victory over the Hammers.
