Yup, you read right! Nuno and his Wolves team at it again. What more could you ask for on promotion to the Premier League? What is happening at Spurs?

Safe to say Mauricio Pochettino’s men were one of the top-six clubs hitting form at the right time, that time being now. After going five games without a loss since their North London derby hiccup, Spurs have fired in the most goals of the top-six clubs.

Before falling to Wolves the weekend past, Spurs hit a total of 11 goals and only conceded two in the process. Due to this Spurs was regarded as a proper title contender to Liverpool and Man City again. However, a little of momentum managed by the London side and they take a knock to hit them back to where they belong.

After all the hard work by other clubs around the league to finally take all the points from Man City, Spurs fail to capitalise and keep Liverpool within six points from them. No, they’d rather give Man City second place back and give the Citizens a chance to fight for the title that they believe, belongs to them.

What a comeback by Wolves

It was all Tottenham in the first half and a bit of luck as well. But as the game wore on so did the Spurs. Looking leg lost, the home side was all over the place, defensively. The start of the comeback came through a familiar source for the visitors, Willy Boly. A well-worked set piece to get the game back on level terms.

It was then almost all Wolves, with Son and Kane coming close enough to have taken a point on the day. Nevertheless, it was Raul Jimenez and Helder Costa, who made sure of three points for the Wolves on the day.

You could see what it meant on the sideline for this newly promoted side. They have now taken points from all of the top-six excluding Liverpool. The chance is still three and mind you, they could be that club to give the Reds their first loss in the league campaign.

dark. Next. Cardiff City pull off a Camarasa for three points

Tottenham edges third place over London rivals Chelsea. All while they lose their second place to Man City. Wolves sit in seventh place on the heels of United by four points. Their chances of a top-six finish has never been this real.
