This really has the look of something bad and good. One of the world’s best midfielders finally playing as well as the title handed to him by the footballing world.

There has always been questions asked about Paul Pogba and his move to Old Trafford. The conversation went in many ways but had similar outcomes all the time. The one debate was how well Pogba played for his national side and when coming from international duty, he played as if he was just learning to kick the ball.

Others stated the Italian Serie A league is nothing like the English Premier League and the time of change came too late in his career. Also the players at Juventus that played alongside Paul was that of better and world-class quality to what United had at the time.

Yes and no. No, he was never too old to make a switch to Old Trafford. I would say the pressures of the price tag, coupled with the fact Jose Mourinho’s football is that of old tactics and everything Paul Pogba was the ultimate problem in the Frenchman’s performances.

I would agree to the Italian league not living up to the hype of the English top league, yes. But that’s only because Juventus are years ahead of any of their Italian rivals in this modern-day football.

So when coming over to Old Trafford, the pressure was on. There were many times the Frenchman showcased the quality was meant to live up to. But on more occasions than not, he gave displays worthy of an average player.

Move on with a new manager and Pogba seems like a new signing!

With United showing some ways of the old and you get the feelings that’s been missing for many seasons since the departure of Sir Alex Ferguson, Paul Pogba’s name has topped headlines all December. No surprise as he loves the headlines and plays to be on TV.

A loss in the oldest English rivalry when United went down poorly against Liverpool, forced a change by United’s board. That change made the difference from going three game without a win, to assuring Ole Gunnar Solskjær joins the list of three managers to take nine points in their three opening fixtures.

Next. Everton with the most inconsistency. dark

Three wins in as many before the end of 2018 was an amazing way to end the season off and was brilliant thinking by the club and it looks like they will continue to reap the benefits of this after the world turns an older age.

Keep one thing in mind when you read this… When Man United was down and probably at one of their lowest points in English football, Paul Pogba was ready to leave.
