Manchester united recorded their third consecutive win under their interim manager Ole Gunnar Solskjær, after a double from Pogba and Rashford and a goal later by Lukaku.

Pogba continued his fine form by scoring the opener after fine footwork done by Marcus Rashford on the right side, which made him flick and go past Ake and Rico to setup the opener for Pogba. The midfielder then continued his fine performance by firing a powerful header past Begovic after a quality cross on the righthand side of United by Ander Herrera.

Again on the stroke of halftime, Anthony Martial chased a long ball down the left side of the Bournemouth defence and provided a good cross which Rashford stretched his leg to put the ball in the net for the third goal in United’s favour.

Putting the game far out of reach from Howe’s men. Bournemouth came and got nothing as they always do from this fixture. The double pulled over the Cherries, is something United should be doing without questions.

Brooks later provided a good cross for Ake to power in a header past De Gea on the last-minute of the added time of the first half, which ensured the score read 3-1 at halftime. In the second half United continued with their neat passing and slick play, which led to applause by the Old Trafford fans.

Lukaku came on for Rashford for his first appearance under Solskjær reign and moments later scored a goal for himself, after a Pogba lofted pass that carved open the Bournemouth defence and allowing the big Belgian to power a shot from his weaker left foot into the net.

Paul was then denied a hat-trick by the woodwork after he unleashed a powerful low shot in which Begovic was forced to use his fingertips and it hit the woodwork. Eric Bailly dived in on Fraser late into the game with both of his feet and left the referee with no option but to show him a straight red card – thanking you for coming.

The Frenchman delivered one of his best displays in a united shirt. He was everywhere and at the heartbeat of every United attack. He thrives under this free role given to him by Solskjær, unlike Jose Mourinho and was duly named the Man of the Match for his fine display.
