Before it was hard to decide which group was the group of death in this season’s Champions League. After four games played and only two points separating first and fourth place, this Group has claimed the title of group of death.

Klopp will be hoping for a repeat of the opening night, when they beat the favourites of this group 3-2 in the opener. A final and late blow from Firmino was enough to see the Anfield side take all the points.

Boy, how important has those points become now reaching Matchday 5? Extremely important! Because of that early setback for Liverpool’s opponents tonight, they now are third favourites, and no longer the favourites.

A tricky fixture to call off the bat. This, purely because of the elite, world-class side Thomas Tuchel managers and the way Napoli have shown the world, PSG can’t really match other sides boasting the same talent as them. Klopp will look to exploit this but will find it hard inside the Parc des Princes.

Naby Keita, still unused but spoken of in the post-match press conference. Will he feature after just taking part on the bench over the weekend? Will we see Sadio Mane, who had an illness ahead of the match but has travelled with the side, as well as trained, according to Klopp? Another player looking to take his place back, Joe Gomez, who had a slight knock and was handed a seat over the weekend – in preparations for this evening.

On the other end, PSG’s manager warned star duo, Neymar and Mbappe, both face a race to be fit and remain major doubts for the Reds clash later this evening. But with this we know, other stars come off the bench for PSG against Liverpool. A side filled with starts from one to 22.

Next. White Hart Lane far from completion or not. dark

Big headaches for the home team manager and some things to smile about for Klopp. Definitely the toughest fixture of the four fixtures we endure this week in Champions League action.
