The Reds come in this section the better team, defensively. Not their free-firing self, but an upgraded version of themselves in the stopping area.

Klopp has a run worthy of a look for a loss ahead of Chelsea. But you can’t argue, a draw could be more likely than a loss for the Anfield side. At Anfield alone, they remain unbeaten for the whole of 2018.

Like City, the Reds have managed an amazing feet of conceding only five goals in their last 12. One of the better defensive teams in the league? Amazingly, yes! It will take a lot of effort to beat them. If the front three are able to play as well as last season again, then the defence along with the attack will become as impossible to stop as Man City.

Liverpool’s next six run ins…

Watford vs. Liverpool
Liverpool vs. Everton
Burnley vs. Liverpool
Bournemouth vs Liverpool
Liverpool vs. Manchester United
Wolves vs. Liverpool

Klopp has some crunching clashes coming up. A visit to Watford always dangerous for the Anfield side. 11 goals between them gives food for thought. Then the visit from their bitter neighbours, Everton.

This game could swing anyway but there’s no denying Liverpool’s a step or more ahead of the Toffees. The Cherries has to come up in their list of worries. A thorn in their sides and playing unbelievably, great football at the moment. A test for the best, no doubt.

Then the biggest of them all, the oldest rival in the history of English football, Manchester and Liverpool. Klopp’s side has struggled to take more than a point and taking nothing at all, in recent seasons.

This is where they will most likely get stuck without points, with Wolves and Burnley actually coming in as the least favourites to do anything. The Reds might not be attacking all that much, but areas have improved, where it was most needed.
