FPL scores got a lot better last week as Man City and Chelsea scored 9 goals between them, Hazard returned and forgotten man Harry Kane even got on the scoresheet.

If City, Liverpool and Chelsea had managed a clean sheet there would have been plenty of people who broke the 100 mark!

The matches in midweek will make a huge difference to the overall Premier League season as Liverpool, City, Spurs and Man United try to make their mark in Europe despite a few hiccups so far in this campaign. It is wise most weeks to leave it until Friday to make your transfers, but especially in weeks like this where the results could impact teams’ rotation policies and cause a few injuries.

This weekend culminates in the Manchester derby, which could curtail City’s free-scoring ways, or put down a marker for their title challenge. Elsewhere there will be opportunities for Chelsea (vs Everton with only 2 clean sheets this season), Arsenal (vs Wolves) and, most obviously, Liverpool who welcome Fulham to Anfield. There will be goals!
