Liverpool 4-1 Cardiff

The Reds needed a match where they scored tons of goals in the league and they got exactly that at Anfield. Mo Salah, Sadio Mane (x2) and Xherdan Shaqiri got on the scoresheet in the 4-1 win over Cardiff City. But hey, Callum Peterson scored and the Bluebirds got more goals at Anfield this season than Man City.

Liverpool will get to enjoy being in first for the next few days before the big Spurs-Man City clash. With the Reds loss to Chelsea in the Carabao Cup, Jurgen Klopp and his players get a full week to rest before a massive at the Emirates against Arsenal. Cardiff will return to Wales and take their five points and play Leicester City.

Fulham 0-3 Bournemouth

Fulham’s defense is reaching the territory of being considered one of the worst in EPL history. The Cottagers conceded at least three goals for the fourth straight Premier League match in a 3-0 home loss to Bournemouth. While Fulham has been consistently horrible on defense (28 goals conceded), the Cherries are in 6th despite some truly terrible performances this season.

Eddie Howe and Bournemouth have 19 points after 10 games and could very well compete all season for a Europa League place. The Vitality will host two matches next week with the League Cup match against Norwich and then Saturday’s early game against Man United. Fulham could see more balls go into their own net with a League Cup match at City and then an EPL match at Huddersfield.
