Liverpool are half a product of their last season selves. Although, on the other hand, they are a better product of themselves on the other end of the pitch.

The Reds take on the weakest team of the group and that’s only based on points collected over three games. Klopp’s men has been an open target, as all teams taking them on have been shooting to kill. Four goals in the space of two games is not what Liverpool thought would be happening in Europe at this early stage.

Klopp’s last Champions League run saw them go unbeaten throughout the group stages, losing their first game in the semifinals, even though they progressed to the finals. Now they already encountered a heavy defeat,  forcing them to work hard in getting their campaign back on track.

With PSG and Napoli playing each other in the other Group C clash, a draw could be instrumental to the Reds push. A win for PSG resets Group C back to how it was at the start of events… Wide open! Nothing more than a win then for the Anfield side, if that’s the case.

Liverpool has their best chance to secure all the points considering their opponents. Their visitors got a hammering in their last showcase, six goal to one. That’s an impressive stat for Klopp to try to better. If they can do it, we could see Liverpool take the top spot again.

Little suggests Napoli can get a victory in Paris. But don’t doubt Carlo’s side, as PSG doesn’t take on too much opponents with quality like Liverpool and the team from Naples.
