It’s the final day of Matchday 3 in the Champions League as the first round draws shut. It has surely been a remarkable group stage phase.

England and Manchester couldn’t own the night in Europe as they experienced opposite fates in different sectors of Europe. Everybody, including United was watching the fixture excepting Juventus – understandably, the only team who scored on the night.

In the other points-driven encounter, Man City played Shakhtar as if Shakhtar were the visitors. City was all Silva as he led the team to a first place finish in the first round of group matches. United entered the fixture in a better situation, but now face a bit of a harder run in the next round when they play two games on the road.

Tonight’s fixtures hold the same amount of pressure for both English clubs playing. Spurs have seen a terrible start to life in the Champions League and has taken a step backwards in form. While they moonwalk, Liverpool find it difficult to emulate the start of the campaign that saw them hit a final minute winner to silent the star-studded, PSG.

Exciting 90 minutes ahead for the Spurs and the Reds of England.
