The London derby leads the way. We’ll have to wait and see if it’s a Hammering West Ham or hitless Hammers. What Spurs shows up, is another article on its own.

West Ham vs. Tottenham

The London stadium will be hoping for more of the same when the Hammers shook up the result and came away with an impressive victory, beating the wounded devils, Man United. It was not repeated when they hit the road in their follow-up fixture, sadly.

Spurs have made it three wins in as many in the Premier League – since losing a top-six battle to Liverpool. They’ve recalibrated and have set themselves straight. They will be looking to add pressure to their North London neighbours, who only take to the pitch in Monday Night Football.

Spurs can overtake Arsenal if they make it four in four. But this West Ham is starting to have a certain swag about them. It’s going to be difficult with them finding their footing.

Newcastle vs. Brighton

Newcastle, who are yet to win a game – entertains Brighton, who haven’t won in their last 17 games on the road. That tell us what exactly? That this could be that game Rafa’s setup finally pays off. If it’s not now, then when for the Toon Army?

Chris Hughton returns to action with some confidence after beating a West Ham, who are bit more threatening than what they were at the start of the season. With Newcastle showing less quality in his side than Hughton’s Seagulls, they should be playing on the front foot even though they travelling. Newcastle haven’t been terribly poor, games have been lost to big hitters by one goal to no answer, mostly. They just have to put all their chances away and stick to the system.

Bournemouth vs. Southampton

Carry on Cherries, carry on! The Howe boys have been a steroid freak of their former selves this season. Somehow becoming one of the better attacking teams this campaign, it will take Ings and his teammates the same disciplined they managed at Selhurst Park.

Talking Crystal Palace, the Saints have only picked up one point since then. Three losses in row got them two points away from where they were this time last season, at the bottom of the table. A point will be more than acceptable for Hughes, with Howe’s men playing such good footy.

Bournemouth 3-1 Southampton
