Its been a minute since Premier League action. Actually, it’s been several unwelcoming, dreadful minutes since English action and gratefully, it’s back for a good period.

It’s a busy Saturday on the return of the English Premier League. All three of the top-of-the-table clubs take part on the first day, as well as all three of the bottom feeders in the league. This alone adds tremendous intensity to all the fixtures happening around the English Premier League.

Hat’s off to whoever did the draw for all the fixtures that took place from Matchday 1 to now. The previous return was greeted with a Tottenham and Liverpool showdown and far from disappointed. This break is welcomed with an even better meeting – Chelsea and Manchester United.

The first match of the day again sets the tone, and sets the pace for those running, chasing that top spot at the summit of the English Premier League table. After the MD9 opener, exciting encounters engage the screen all over England.

All three of the bottom dwelling teams get a chance to get that elusive first win, as all play their respective fixtures at home. Maybe what’s needed for these three slow starters to get off the mark. The leaders take part in the jammed-packed time slot and have an easy test when they welcome Sean Dyche’s Burnley for what could be a hiding.

The final match of the day brings Wagner and Klopp together again for a third time, since joining the Premier League. How this goes down, could be far from predictable with the long list of injuries Liverpool boast.

Let’s take a look at today’s action…
