In a first-place battle, Liverpool take on Manchester City this Sunday in the English Premier League at Anfield Stadium.

Liverpool’s had an extraordinary season thus far, six wins and a draw in seven matches for the opening fixtures for them so far.  As stated by BBC, the Reds might have Naby Keita as a starter, despite a night spent in the hospital after suffered a spasm against Napoli.

More great news is that Adam Lallana is nearing a rotating spot on the other side, while Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is still recovering from a long-term injury. At the same time, Manchester City has had a good start with the same 19 points that Liverpool has. Moreover, the team coached by Pep Guardiola has scored 18 goals, whilst the Reds only 12.

Despite the good form, the visitors may have two absences in Ilkay Gundogan, who faces a fitness test on an injured hamstring and his appearance is still unconfirmed. Moreover, Fabian Delph could feature for Mendy, who both never travelled with the squad midweek.

The citizens’ community has another reason to continue smiling. Kevin De Bruyne and Benjamin Mendy both returned to training and could be featured.
