Last Match: W 2-1 at. Cardiff City

Next Match: SAT vs. Huddersfield Town

Burnley went from 20th to 15th in a two-week span in the power rankings. The Clarets are winning games after a packed schedule in August and September. The confidence to push away from the relegation zone is increasing every day for Burnley. Beating Huddersfield would put Sean Dyche at 10 points.

Last Matches: L 0-2 at. Wolves & W on PENS at. Everton

Next Match: SUN vs. Chelsea

Saints are comfortable mid-table in the power rankings after a so-so week. After losing late to Wolves, Southampton got a great penalty shootout win against Everton in the Carabao Cup. This sets up a fourth-round match against Leicester City in late-October or early-November. Danny Ings has kept scoring and proved he was one of the best moves this summer.

Last Match: L 0-2 at. Manchester City

Next Match: FRI vs. West Ham United

Brighton and Southampton sit in 15th and 16th respectively and have been right next to each other in the table and power rankings for weeks now. The Seagulls only win this season was the epic upset against Manchester United in matchday two. Since then, they have lost four of their last six matches. A Friday night match with West Ham is an important chance to get back to getting points.

Last Matches: L 1-3 at. West Ham United & D 0-0 vs. Valencia

Next Match: SAT vs. Newcastle United

The situation is really bad in Manchester. Jose Mourinho and his squad have looked completely hopeless in their last four matches, all of which they have not won. The question of when Mourinho leaves is becoming the focus of the club and everyone following the Red Devils. Man United will have a lot of thinking to do during the international break. If they lose to Newcastle, maybe some changes finally happen.

Last Match: W 3-1 vs. Manchester United

Next Match: FRI at. Brighton & Hove Albion

The Hammers had the best performance of matchday seven with their 3-1 win against Manchester United. Marko Arnautovic played spectacularly with Andriy Yarmolenko and Felipe Anderson forming a real bond with each other and the Austrian striker. Declan Rice has also been a great addition and has been phenomenal for West Ham. The Hammers are back.
