Last Matches: D 0-0 vs. Newcastle & W 3-0 at. West Brom

Next Match: MON at. Bournemouth

Crystal Palace should have nine points now after squandering a chance to beat Newcastle at home. The Monday night game at Bournemouth could be the moment where we realize this team could finish in the top ten. They are in 11th now and on a three-match unbeaten streak. Converting chances is the name of the game for the Eagles.

Last Matches: D 1-1 vs. Watford & W 3-1 at. Millwall

Next Match: SAT at. Everton

Fulham finally had their first game where it wasn’t a hit or a miss. It was mediocre. A draw at home to Watford got Mitrovic back to scoring and gives Fulham some leverage above the relegation zone. More of these mediocre performances and this team will get closer and closer to realizing their full potential.

Last Match: L 0-3 at. Liverpool

Next Week: SAT at. Wolves & TUE at. Everton

Southampton’s record looks poor but they haven’t been poor recently. A 3-0 loss to Liverpool was expected and the Saints can’t be knocked down losing to one of the hottest teams in Europe. Two matches in quick succession this week precede a tough future schedule. Mark Hughes needs more out of his midfield for improved results.

Last Match: L 1-2 vs. Tottenham

Next Match: SAT at. Manchester City

Brighton left their one goal too late against Tottenham and could not execute a third straight comeback. The task is daunting against Man City at the Etihad but Brighton have proved their defense can be disciplined enough to contain top-six clubs more than other bottom-half teams. Glenn Murray and Anthony Knockaert might snag a goal late tomorrow.

Last Matches: L 0-4 at. Burnley & W 3-2 vs. Blackburn

Next Match: MON vs. Crystal Palace

Bournemouth scores a lot but concedes a lot. After six games this season, the Cherries have scored 10 goals and conceded 11. Four of the 11 were against Burnley in an abysmal loss to the then last-place team in the Premier League. A late win against Blackburn was a nice boost but they conceded two goals. Defense needs a lot of work before the Monday night game in London.
