What would the English Premier League be without Manchester City’s higher scorer ever? Simply boring! Best choice to keep the South American for another year.

Man City have started off their followup season to their winning one in similar style. This is thanks to how Pep has prepped his squad and because of how deadly Aguero’s been in the beginning.

The Argentine has brought City success during Pep’s time and before Pep’s time. He brought them their first title in unforgettable fashion. He, along with the manager has one piece of silverware in sight. That all elusive Champions League, that’s been evading the striker since his Atletico days.

The contract extension…

The signature of the striker keeps him at the Manchester club till 2021, extending his stay for a year extra. This is a bit of a surprise, knowing Pep likes them young.

At 30-years-old, this is a big step for Pep and Aguero. They’ve haven’t always had the best of relationships and there were always talks of the kun wanting to leave. Be it he was to return to his beloved, Atletico Madrid. Or his first lover, Independiente.

So with Pep wanting a youthful side and the two always having talks of separating from each other, it comes as a big surprised this man has signed a new contract extension.

Why it’s no surprise?

He just can’t stop scoring goals in the Premier League and for Manchester City. He also is the closest living thing to a modern-day legend for City and a lethal striker. Man City must show him the gratitude for what he has brought since joining the club.

Taken from the Manchester Evening News:

"“I am happy for this additional year. My idea was being here for 10 years. I’ve been here for seven years, it’s going to be 10 when the contract expires.“This was the main reason I signed. I’m very happy because they have treated my very well since the first day I got here.“I’m very happy with everything that involves the cub, my teammates, the staff and the management team.”"

He has also been at the club the longest along with club captain, Vincent Kompany. The two have reached a status of legendary at the club. The club’s most prolific number 9 – will help and aid every young forward Pep brings through the doors.

dark. Next. Best of MD6 – Wolves shock Manchester again

This has nothing but positive vibes for the club, players, and manager. Why wouldn’t you do it? This gives me the impression he will be at the Etihad till the day he says, “enough’s enough” and retire in a place that he brought so much joy to many with many magical moments.
