Crystal Palace 0-0 Newcastle

Newcastle owner Mike Ashley showed up at Selhurst Park and saw his team’s struggles continue with a bad performance and a 0-0 draw against Crystal Palace. The match saw very little action but Palace could have won the game with 16 shots to Newcastle’s six. The clean sheet is the third this season for Wayne Hennessey and his second consecutive.

Roy Hodgson and the Eagles have performed well in their last two matches and are up to seven points now. They go to the Hawthorns to play West Brom in the EFL Cup and then will go to Bournemouth for matchday seven. Newcastle hasn’t won all season in six EPL matches and an EFL Cup fixture. They host Leicester next.
