Cardiff 0-5 Man City

Cardiff’s rough run got worse after Manchester City put five past them at Cardiff City Stadium. It was a slow start for the champions but they got three in the net before half-time. Sergio Aguero and Bernardo Silva’s goals don’t compare to Ilkay Gundogan’s incredible shot for the third goal. The day got better with Riyad Mahrez scoring two off the bench.

Man City’s draw against Wolves is the only thing keeping them out of first-place. The undefeated Citizens should score more goals against Oxford United on Tuesday and then at home against Brighton next Saturday. Cardiff has now lost four straight and have conceded 12 goals in three games. They host Burnley next Sunday to end September.
