Manchester City: Nothing better than a player returning ahead of schedule
It has been much of the same from the previous Premier League gold medalists. Besides an early hiccup – everything seems to be in place for Pep.
Pep was in doubt when he lost his most lethal asset, Kevin de Bruyne. The midfielder was at the forefront of everything that involved winning last season. Since the two has been put together, the midfielder has improved on his already world-class status.
It was a big loss to lose him so early, while some of Manchester City’s counterparts are doing so well. Besides City not losing a game, Chelsea and Liverpool have afforded themselves the perfect start. To compete with the best you must maintain your best form and players.
When Man City played the first game without their star midfielder, it looked as if he was wasn’t missed at all. A six-goal display was how City dealt with the loss. It was only when the champs took on Wolves, is when he was missed. This was where they fell behind the other two clubs making the most of the points up for grabs.
It will hit them mostly during the busy period

Since the Champions League is only starting this week, the loss of Kevin will be most noticeable now only. Games will be played almost every three to four days, gives Pep some selection problems.
Silva will be used more than often and at his age, not such a good thing. He will need to be rested for big games. Without de Bruyne, Man City have been able to win three games and draw one. In this time they’ve managed to score twelve goals. That’s cause for less panic.
Pep predicted the attack of the Blues might be affected negatively, but it is yet to be terribly poor and them lose. Nevertheless, the quicker he gets back the better. They can make good use of a player who got eight goals and 16 assists last season.
The return sooner than expected
When the first diagnoses came it was expected that Kevin de Bruyne would be missing from action for three months, making a comeback at the end of November.
Fortunately for Pep, it seems as though the heart and engine of City will return sooner than expected. Making good ground on his road to recovery, it has been reported the Belgian could make the all-important, Manchester derby.
This is great news for City and any neutral. The most testing trial is trying to maintain your Premier League honours. And City must have him included in the fight to retain Premier League glory.
