Brighton & Hove Albion are in a good way despite their last efforts.

A draw always better than a loss, but not being able to hold on to a two-goal advantage at your home ground, makes it feel like a loss.

Instead of losing players to injury, Hughton has players who have returned to full training and could make the squad, with only one player fighting against time to be fit for selection. Winger Jose Izquierdo, is yet to feature this season and could be a lethal injection to the attack needed at St. Mary’s.

A player many have been waiting to see since joining in the summer is new signing and striker, Florin Andone. The striker scored six goals in 30 appearances last season. Waiting patiently for him to make his first Premier League appearance.

The player fighting to be fit, Pascal Gross.

The East Sussex side has had an intermittent four games so far. They’ve conjured up a massive victory going against the scriptures, however, sit 14th with a win, a draw, and two losses. Nothing exactly says they coming to St Mary’s stadium sure of three points.

The Brighton boss will be relying big time on their powerful beast up front, Glen Murray. He’s scored three goals for the midi-table team this season, and he hasn’t looked like stopping yet. He’s proven age is nothing but a number.

This is a pretty well-balanced contest set to take place tonight in Monday Night Football. If both teams are fortunate enough to have their doubtful players in the squad for selection, Southampton should take the three points over Brighton.
