First weekend back followed by some Monday Night Football. The Seagulls flock over to St. Mary’s to square off against the Saints of the south side.

Two teams who sit on the same amount of points after four fixtures – meet later this evening in an attempt to jump up a few places on the table. One team with a stunning show against Man United a fort night ago, with the other finding their feet after a poor start.

Mark Hughes has a chance to extend his winnings to two in a row. His squad should be full of confidence knowing they face a team they’ve recently beaten in the English League Cup. That, plus a home tie gives the Saints the faith to take all the points.

Chris Hughton must make up for throwing points away in their previous clash when they shared the spoils with Fulham in their last Premier League encounter. He and his Seagulls will be looking to play the revenge card on the home side, who ended their chances of silverware in a world where Premier League titles harbours in other sectors of England.

Will it be six points in two matches for one team, or four in two for the other? Mid-table battle early days in the drama-filled English Premier League.
