English Premier League: Sunday Matchday 5 run through – Little to look forward to
The Sunday fixtures of Matchday 5 does no justice to the action packed Saturday we got to enjoy. But it’s Premier League action nonetheless.
Only two fixtures hits the tallies this Sunday. New boys Wolves, invite struggling Burnley to Molineux stadium. A team who can do the business on the pitch plays a team in need of a better run of results.
The second of the two fixtures features two teams who are supposed to be high up on the table, flying with their new look managers and squads. However, one side has been better than their products of last season, whereas the other, showing no signs of a better team.

A small preview of the two Sunday fixtures
Wolves vs. Burnley
The home team has really strutted their stuff in the league. The first team to keep Man City at bay when they took two points away from the reigning champions. The hosts have collected four points in as many games. They are in a far better position than what Burnley’s in.
Their visitors are on a very bad run of games. Not the Clarets we’ve come to accustomed to. Playing European football has taken its toll on Sean Dyche’s men. They’ve only managed to gain one point from their first four encounters. Three losses in as many, is unheard of and not the what Sean wanted while taking on his European dream.
Wolves should and could take all the points in this one.
Everton vs. West Ham
The much improved takes on the non improvement of Pellegrini. Everton look a threatening team in the early stages of the Premier League. While West Ham look like three free points. A couple of silly errors have costed Silva some points along the way, but performances has been better. A win for the Blues of Merseyside can help them over jump both, Arsenal and Spurs.
A chance of making European football has never looked so welcoming for Everton. West Ham can only brag about two goals scored and a big bill still showing from their purchases. No points, no wins, no draws and four losses, makes them the worst of the lot.
No change from last season to now – the Hammers the team requesting international break, they’ve been so terrible after four. West Ham could spring into action and had a number of days on the training field to get it right – hopefully that’s the case for the manager.
Time is ticking for the once City manager.
