The highest scoring game took place in London on Sunday, when newly promoted side Fulham entertained Burnley to a heavy awakening session.

Fulham are off and kicking. If this wasn’t to happen on Matchday 3 – a write-up on Fulham being the biggest frauds in the English Premier League was coming. From the first whistle the home side had the visitors on the back foot.

A rocket from distance started proceedings at Craven Cottage. With club opening their account with three points, so did a couple of their new men add the first goal to their names. Midfield sensation, Jean Seri hit one from outside the box that not even the best in the world would have been able to stop.

It was a short-lived lead when they conceded to a typical Claret’s move. Jeff Hendrick equalised almost immediately after and the game was again, anybody’s to take. Well, that’s what we thought.

Fulham’s wonder boy, Aleksandar Mitrovic hit Burnley with a brace in as many minutes. Add another two to three minutes and the fourth goal of the game was tallied on the board before the halftime break by Burnley’s, James Tarkowski. It was a breathtaking first 45.

The game went on for the rest of the second half, with nobody hitting the back of the net until the final minutes of the game. The third player to get his name put on the scoreboard, Andre Schurrle. A fantastic game for any neutral watching in.

However, for the Clarets – worry must be settling after collecting one point from their opening three games.
