A well deserved third place finish for the second and final Manchester City player. David Silva looked at home in the middle of the pitch over the weekend.

What more could you ask from a player on his return to action? Nothing really. Silva was instrumental to City’s whitewash over Huddersfield on Sunday afternoon.

Besides being named one of the best players over the weekend, Silva also capped off an inch perfect dead ball special. The last free-kick goal of the top five goes to the Spaniard.

Besides the free kick being something from out of this world, Silva also hit a milestone like his teammate, Aguero. This was his 250th professional game – and boy did he do it in style. Everything and everybody was second best to Silva on the day.

Did you notice somebody was missing?
