Last Result: W 3-1 at. Burnley

Next Week: SUN vs. Crystal Palace

Congrats Watford. Let’s see how long the Hornets can be considered a top-five team in the league. This team hasn’t played the toughest opposition to start the season (Brighton and Burnley), but they have won both matches convincingly. Will Hughes and Troy Deeney were excellent at Turf Moor and the entire Watford midfield is playing so well together. Crystal Palace needs seriously good tactics to stop the sting of Watford.

Last Result: W 3-2 vs. Arsenal

Next Week: SUN at. Newcastle United

Sarri and Chelsea are very close to being title contenders. The defense had some disorganization against Arsenal, but the attack was fluid and the midfield is excellent. N’Golo Kante seems slightly uncomfortable in the advanced role he is playing in with Jorginho playing deeper. I think Kante will adapt and start to have the impact we are used to seeing from him. It also helps Sarri when he has the best player in the league on his bench.

Last Result: W 3-1 vs. Fulham

Next Week: MON at. Manchester United

I guess Tottenham didn’t need any signings after all? We’ll see about that in December. Thus far though, Spurs look great and Kieran Trippier and Harry Kane are ready to advance their game even more after the World Cup. With wins over Newcastle and Fulham, it’s only fitting Tottenham face their first test of the season on Monday night football. Can Kane take down a beat down Man United?

Last Result: W 2-0 at. Crystal Palace

Next Week: SAT vs. Brighton & Hove Albion

The Reds drop to second because City is obviously the best team in the Premier League. Liverpool has had a good start. Two wins, two Alisson clean sheets, Sadio Mane has scored, the fullbacks look dangerous, Salah is contributing, and so much more. Liverpool is a dangerous team in England and will be again in the Champions League. They have a chance to get nine out of nine against Brighton.

Last Result: W 6-1 vs. Huddersfield Town

Next Week: SAT at. Wolverhampton Wanderers

The champions were champions on Sunday. An Aguero hat-trick, a Mendy assist show, and a perfect day for David Silva were just a few things that happened at the Etihad in the 6-1 win over Huddersfield.

Benjamin Mendy takes this team to a different level and Manchester City is by far the best team in the league. They don’t even play a top six side until October.
