The Englishman who was at the top of a lot of summer lists, makes TTF’s list of top five new comers on the opening day and he comes in at last.

Leicester City acquired one of the most promising number 10’s coming from the Championship. James Maddison was wanted by teams like Liverpool, and Man United. However, he opted for game time and a chance to help the Foxes better themselves.

On the opening day of the English Premier League, Maddison played a part in Leicester’s loss against Man United [2-0] at Old Trafford. Although the team in blue walked away with no points, they can be extremely happy with the way James has started the season off for the them.

He only managed 60 plus minutes on the pitch but in those minutes, the Foxes were mostly on the front foot. Let’s hope it continues and we get to see what all the fuss was about.
