Huddersfield 0-3 Chelsea

Maurizio Sarri’s 4-3-3 looked effective at John Smith’s Stadium. N’Golo Kante took advantage of his advanced role and scored the Blues first goal of the season. It got better for Chelsea when Marcos Alonso was taken down in the box for a penalty. Jorginho got a debut goal with the weirdest penalty run-up of all time.

The Blues continued to dominate and sealed the three points with a goal from Pedro late in the second-half. Eden Hazard assisted it after coming off the bench. A debut win for Maurizio Sarri puts Chelsea above United and Spurs in the early table.
