Some big moves were made in last week. Fulham acquired a World Cup winner, while Brighton brought in a World Cup young-star, player with bags of potential.

Newcastle has been a tad bit busy and the business being done so far has been in and out. Rafa and the fans knows the situation at the club, and players must go for some new names to come in. They’ve now parted ways with 23-year-old centre back, Chancel Mbemba but in return acquired the signature of Swiss defender, Fabian Schar. A youngster for a vet swap.

The next player heading over to London straight to the cottage for an exciting project is stopper Fabri from Turkish club, Besiktas, who are now strong favourites to land Simon Mignolet. The Belgian was excluded from preseason in France this week, amid the links.

Bournemouth were also quick with their business during last week. A nun familiar name has been added to the Cherries picking tree. Diego Rico is their new man, taking into account BVB were a possible destination – makes you think how good a signing he would be for Eddie?

Most shocking news of a transfer came from a camp in London as well, when Chelsea were named with Rob Green as their new stopper. Old but gold, they always say!

One of the three players Roman Abramovich was heavily in favour of coming to the Bridge and I was sure would be a transfer was Aleksandr Golovin. Unfortunately, we will not see the Russia World Cup hero after he signed for AS Monaco.

They managed to outbid Chelsea, who seriously need to spend money to match those offering more attractive competition. Hazard and countryman, Courtois has still been rumoured with moves away from the club. Talks of Willian leaving has quieted down since Barcelona signed Malcom from Bordeaux.

Reports from BBC;  Ben Wilson took leave from Cardiff City on a free, with a long list of young players loaned out from clubs across the English Premier League.
