The new look West Ham is making it an extra special wait for the new season. Another great cope for the Hammers, as they want to hit the season hammering hard.

Certainly a strong genie in the bottle behind all the work going on at the London stadium. With the first move on the board to get a strong, renowned manager in, then all the moves around to make what looks like a strong West Ham squad.

Andriy Yarmolenko, Jack Wilshere, Issa Diop, Fabian Balbuena, Lukasz Fabianski, and Ryan Fredericks are the names who have been added to the Hammers’ roster so far. After adding this list of transfers who brag loads of experience and promise, West Ham broke bank and brought in their most expensive transfer in the club’s history, Felipe Anderson.

A top talent joining the English Premier League for a record fee of £33.5 million that could rise to £42 million. This record-breaking transfer plus the other business conducted throughout the summer would not have been possible without having Manuel Pellegrini at the wheel.

Missing from the Hammers

If you think back to last season the Hammers were missing everything. A manager who could lead, a team without a defence, a team with no goals, and a team who consistently lost.

It was a mess when Bilic lost Uptown Park and his key figure, Dimitri Payet. Once he left, things went from bad to worst, to Moyes. The club probably made the best decision since their time in the Olympic stadium, when parting ways with David Moyes.

Since making this decision, it’s had nothing but a ripple effect of positive pull. Attracting a player of Anderson’s caliber is nothing short of brilliant. And yes… He must first prove himself in the best league in the world.

How they’ve reinstalled curiosity

They’ve now added in every area lacking last season. Not just by signing a host of no names and deadbeats? No! By add Premier League pedigree and infielders who could potentially be world beaters. Yes, some of these new names must still prove themselves worthy of the English cause.

But one can’t help but be excited, thinking what this team could bring to the league, and what they mean to the table. They started from the back of the lineup, working their way forward, adding goals and hopefully, clean sheets.

Their first matchup against Liverpool, which takes place at Anfield, is one for all to look out for with the West Ham new look, and the Reds new spine of millions more than the Hammers.

Everything is lining up for this team to reach the goal of European football. Europa League, successful campaign. Champions League, exceeding expectations, but not impossible.
