It was really a toss-up between Tottenham and United. Like United, the Spurs have that tacky dissolve effect on the bottom of their shirts. This, again, makes fans less likely to buy your kit. It was like the designers said ‘Well, our shirt is agonizingly boring. Is there anything we can do to spice things up?’

Some color on the shoulder or a ring around the sleeves could have done the job. This is just sad.
