After already adding a new man to the middle of the park, Liverpool’s central area seems pretty packed. I feel nobody will be shipped out, only in.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain: It’s a shame his first season for the Anfield side ended in such terrible manner. Although suffering the fatal blow – Ox was superb on the pitch when playing in the middle. Klopp will wait for him and keep him at the club. This, plus having only recently signed with the club, reinforces his commitment to the club.

No transfer out for Alex.

James Milner: How does he do what he does at his age? Milner was a step above his ageing self, when he collected the most assists in a single Champions League season. He is on his way out of football on the big stage. Liverpool is and will be his last big club. He will stay at the club to help provide cover and experience for those younger than him.

James will stay his experience is needed by Klopp.

Jordan Henderson: The skipper has had a hot and cold season. Lost with him and lost without him, the Liverpool captain has done enough to keep him at the club but for how long, I do not know. His position, along with all the other midfielders have come under threat with Liverpool’s new signings. He will have to fight for his right to stay. The real question is what role will he be playing?

Threatening for the skipper but he will be fighting for his spot next season.

Adam Lallana: Another player unlucky to see a terrible series of problems stopping his campaign. Never really able to make a start or a game, Lallana barely featured after going missing during the warmup games before the start of last season. Him, like Henderson and Milner, will have to fight for their places in the team. This is their last chance to stay playing in any of the top six. Any move from here would be a downgrade. He will want to make amends for his lack of contribution in last season fantastic run by the Reds.

Resurgent Lallana with last chance ditch at Anfield.

Georginio Wijnaldum: Others feel he’s not useful enough and others feel he goes missing far too often. I don’t care, this man’s been amazing for Klopp since arriving. Fitting in wherever the manager wants him to, Gini has a career at Anfield as long as he keeps doing what he’s doing and Klopp stays at the club.

Wijnaldum, the middle man of the middle men will stay.

Marko Grujic: The Serbian is yet to break through on the Reds scene, showed heaps of potential when he was singed a couple of seasons back, but has barely been a regular for Klopp during recent times. He was on loan at Cardiff, during their fantastic promotion run and might be returning their to complete another loan spell. He is worth a look but will he be overlooked and never feature for the Reds? Time will tell. If he has a magical World Cup, he could stay and take up the battle in midfield.

He will go on loan but stay only if his World Cup was worth continuous replays.

Fabio Henrique Tavares: The new man and the player best known as Fabinho. A new signing with no plan of any loan out back to his old club (cause that’s what this club is capable of). He will be the one knocking on Henderson’s door… “I’m coming for you!”

Emre Can: He has left the club already but still hasn’t signed for favourites Juventus. But the player and the club decided no repeat of left back Fabio Aurelio will occur. Gone is the German man who had that something special but not yet at his full potential. Probably the biggest problem at the club – they lose their best before they peak.
