The fullback positions has finally been solved. The only time really threatening, was when Liverpool were hit with many injures.

Nathaniel Clyne: Missing for majority of the 2017/18 campaign, Nathaniel Clyne will come in to the team as if he was a new player. I don’t see reason for him to be sold. With Trent on the rise and Clyne back in the fold, right back seems sound. With all the worst of his injuries hopefully in the past, he should be back to his best.

The Englishman will stay at the club.

Trent Alexander-Arnold: A player definitely considered first on the team sheet is this young man. A breakthrough season fit for any Liverpool born player. The only worry for the young right back is – does he become back up to Clyne, or did Clyne lose his place to Trent after last season? Trent’s a potential captain for the Reds.

He will stay at the club – no brainer.

Alberto Moreno: One of the more trickier players on the list. The Spanish fullback was on the road to redemption when last season kicked off. However, a season stopping injury took place and Moreno left the door open for Andrew Robertson to come and make the left back position his. Since recovering, the Spaniard has barely been considered. He will stay, although if the right offer comes in, Klopp will sell. Price range £15 million.

Sold at the right price if offer comes in – I believe Alberto’s time has run out.

Andrew Roberts: The left back revelation! This man has been nothing short of brilliant in his first season at Anfield. He has cemented his name in the backline and will take a lot to be moved out of the position. Andy has a long future at the club if he continues the died-hard, Scottish attitude he’s displayed since getting his chance.

First choice left back next season.
