The sum of 99 players from the English Premier League participates on football’s biggest stage in the universe. Who’s not excited?

Out the 99 fielders, England obviously has the most but out the lot from the English camp and other countries, who will shine in Russia?

The World Cup always brings you these unknown bangers, who sometimes go on to be world beaters. Sometimes others fail to play anywhere near their expectations when playing at club level, after having a scintillating World Cup.

When thinking who will take the headlines of the Premier League pool – Kevin de Bruyne, David de Gea, and Mohamed Salah comes to mind. These are just three of the names of the 99 playing in Russia. These three will have booming campaigns to follow-up on, so the pressure is on.

Will they, or will they not show they are the best in the world, on the world stage? I will categorise them from unlikely, to most likely to succeed at the event. The first lot of no shows will be a general explanation of why they wont form part of the A grade from the EPL pool.

When I get to the top three, I will explain why they will go on to be the best performers from England’s Top Flight.
