Group G looks pretty much set with who will qualify and who will not. But when are things ever straightforward when England’s involved?

A group with everything in it. A World Cup winner, who’s had nothing but controversy in many World Cup Finals, a first timer, a heavy contender in the black corner and Tunisia.

The second last group of previews before the World Cup kicks off tomorrow is Group G. A winner of the group already named, while a spot remains open for two teams realistically.

Group G

POS
TEAMS
1 Belgium
2 Panama
3 Tunisia
4 England

On paper two teams should be cleaning the pitch with their opponents. However, as mentioned earlier, England can make things extremely difficult for themselves.

Belgium must act as champions, England must play above their menacing media talks, Panama must prevent new comer embarrassment, and Tunisia must stay Tunisia.
