The managerial saga is over, the transfer window is open, and it’s time for Arsenal FC to start their new era.

Unai Emery is the man who takes up all the front pages regarding Arsenal these days, but the quiet footsteps of Sven Mislintat, Raul Sanllehi, and Ivan Gazidis in the background will be key to any success the Gunners may wish to find.

The 2018 summer transfer window is complicated slightly due to the interference of the World Cup. For Arsenal, it is also complicated a bit due to their rumoured budget of a measly £70 million. This is a budget that will not get a big club very far in a single window, and Arsenal may have to look towards sales to help fund their summer ventures.

In this piece, I will go through the Arsenal squad man-by-man, and tell you where each player stands in regards to their importance to the club, and whether they should be sold or not. I will also be adding realistic, yet ideal signings that Arsenal could potentially make by the end of the summer.

Although the club still has issues, it’s still an exciting time for Arsenal fans, who will get a much-needed fresh start for the first time in ages. We start between the pipes.
