A group holding a strong favourite who should be unmatched in their group. A group where finishing runners-up will be the hardest fight. Who will take the number two slot in Group C?

France has been honourably titled as the best team at the tournament. Possessing a team, squad, and era of personnel regarded as their ‘Golden Era’, perhaps. They should be walking into the knockout rounds and somewhere close to the finals. But in actual fact, they should be taking the trophy altogether.

Other than the European powerhouse, the other three have a gruelling battle to take the only spot available for a chance to play knockout football. It’s a risky one to call off the bat, who will be the second best team, but we all feel it’s Denmark.

Group C:

POS
TEAMS
1 France
2 Australia
3 Peru
4 Denmark

However, all three of these teams are in possession of players who’ve either operated, or operate in Europe’s top leagues. This will make for an interesting group and hopefully entertaining as well. Their biggest worry is only to come after the second-place duel concludes, playing the winners of Group D.

Whoever that may be, will be an even higher mountain to climb. After an already extensive march for second place, Argentina, Croatia and Nigeria, square off in Group D. What chances do any of them stand against one of these teams in the D Pool?
