This comes as the biggest shock, the link between two rival clubs for a player many fans don’t like. Could Marouane Fellaini be on his way to the Emirates and start a new era under Unai?

To nice for all the dirty work. Basically every midfielder in Arsenal’s central park. The likes of Ozil, Ramsey, Xhaka, and others are not the general commanding figure, who’s needed to do all the cleaning up and dirty work.

Be a menace off the ball, protecting everything behind him, and apply relentless pressure. If there’s anybody out their who says the Gunners have a midfielder capable of these attributes you’ve been sleeping under a rock.

Want away, Fellaini

Fellaini has seen a little minutes at Old Trafford, some were meaningful, others were futile. But the Belgian’s contract halt expresses his desire to leave the Red Devils, in search of a new venture.

Strange enough, he was so important to Jose and the club, they triggered a clause in his contract to keep him on further till 2018. This was the last with 2018 being the standoff between the player and United.

The club will not meet the demands of the ageing fluffy-head. He wants two years guaranteed  on his extension, but United is unwilling to meet his demands. It’s not how they get down with players on their way out.

That’s why this transfer link makes sense, but by no means the best option for Arsenal in their new regime.

Latest link points at swift exit for the Belgian

Being included in the Belgium side over star midfielder, Radja Nainggolan, has to say something about the large man. He has been the favourite of all of the managers he’s played under in the Premier League.

Under Moyes he was used frequently and so was he used under the next two Manchester United managers, Van Gaal and Mourinho. It only became of recent, where the man has seen more time off the pitch, than on.

It’s no surprise, Fellaini is not a fan favourite with many hoping the player moves on and no renewal is discussed. Whereas on the receiving end, Arsenal fans are not welcoming of the idea. Even though they have a new man at the helm.

Next: Every player at the World Cup

Arsenal have emerged as favourites for the want away. It’s good news if you want it to be. Emery has worked with a big man of Fellaini’s statue and that player has flourished into one of the best midfielders in the Spanish League.

That player is none other than Steven Nzonzi from Sevilla. However, it is also reported, many on the Arsenal board do not see him as a Gunner and are against the move, entirely.

My guess is, agree to sign a year deal with United and take the money. He won’t get into another team playing for all honours as a first-choice member. Times up for the player, but no doubting it, a player that quite a few managers see as worthy.
