If Liverpool weren’t beating teams by four or five goals, they’d be labeled sick or not showing form. Goals, like Man City was majority of the time a treat and rarely missing.

Liverpool managed a pair of herculean victories over the Swans and the Hornets. The 5-0 win over Swansea was on December 26th and the match against Watford was on March 17th.

Both games were defensive triumphs without a goal allowed. Mohamed Salah scored an insane four times versus Watford and Firmino scored twice against Swansea.

Worst Loss : 0-5 vs. Manchester City (September 9th)

A red card to Sadio Mane was the highlight and turning point of the game. 37 minutes in first half of the game, Mane karate kicked Ederson almost into the top corner of the goalmouth, but from outside the big box – where both men went in 50/50 for a ball over the top.

Mane won the fight but lost the call, and received his marching orders. It was at this point – he and the rest of the Liverpool team knew they were going to suffer the wrath of Pep. Definitely a devastating moment for Liverpool.

Jesus and Sane each produced two goals and the Reds couldn’t even get to the back of the net. Still, City would likely have won the league anyway and this pounding would inspire Liverpool when they got their revenge in the Champions League.
