By far one of the most underwhelming on the list. The only player who’s taken a step backwards with his club is Harry Kane.

The English hitman lost out to the other Premier League player on this list for the season of 2017-2018.

Losing out on the golden boot and a chance at any silverware, Kane of the lot gets praises for taking his team to another Champions League finish. Besides that, the striker has had little to brag about in his one man show this term.

If you want to give him credit, his form and leadership has earned him the captain’s armband ahead of the World Cup in Russia. Let’s hope he losses his selfish ways by then and shares the spoils with his teammates.
