The season of 2017-18 was a bounce-back season for a few Arsenal players, but nobody came out of the shadows as significantly as Aaron Ramsey did.

With Monreal or Xhaka being the only other considerations for Arsenal’s best player throughout the season, Ramsey’s contributions were quite impressive. Many have started to see the Welshman as one of the Premier League’s finest central-midfielders.

Ramsey’s rare ability to score goals from central midfield while staying positionally disciplined is nearly unmatched in world football, and his awareness and footballing IQ is extremely underrated.

His tally of 23 goal contributions (11 goals & 12 assists) in 32 matches across all competitions earns him this nod, as he finished as Arsenal’s 2nd highest scorer.
