Crystal Palace 2-0 West Brom

Palace and West Brom had little to play for at Selhurst Park to close the season. Roy Hodgson was able to rescue Palace from the depths that the Baggies will fall too. The Eagles got a win and it was thanks to two of their biggest heroes all season, Wilfried Zaha and Patrick van Aanholt.

Palace ends the season with 44 points and in 11th place. This achievement will go down as the most impressive in Roy Hodgson’s career. Palace will need to hold on to as much as they have now to compete for a top-half position next season.

West Brom ends the season in dead last in the EPL, something they hadn’t done since 2009. The record stands at six wins, 13 draws, and 19 losses. This was good enough for a measly 31 points. For just the second time in the 2010s, West Brom will play Championship football.
