Man United 1-0 Watford

Jose Mourinho and Manchester United have stumbled across the finish line to close their second-place Premier League campaign. Marcus Rashford scored the eventual winner for the Red Devils as the 1-0 win over Watford puts United above the 80-point plateau for the first time in the post-Fergie era.

United will face Chelsea at Wembley in the FA Cup final as both teams crave one trophy to make this season look a little better on paper. Watford’s season on paper doesn’t look too impressive as they finished 14th on 41 points.

The Hornets changed managers mid-season and responded by collecting vital points in February, including the huge 4-1 win over Chelsea at Vicarage Road. Watford will be back.
