Newcastle 3-0 Chelsea

Liverpool’s UCL fate was also sealed with a little help from their former manager, Rafa Benitez, and his Magpie team that trounced Chelsea.

Newcastle ran all over Chelsea to end a season where they finished in tenth-place on 44 points. Ayoze Perez’s brace kept the Blues on 70 points for the year and puts them in the Europa League after a fifth-place finish.

Both these teams had eventful campaigns. Newcastle was able to beat United and Chelsea within the last few weeks of the season and put themselves back on the map as a Premier League regular.

For Chelsea, changes will be coming. Antonio Conte could be gone after a lackluster season for the former champions. No Champions League and a full 30 point gap between themselves and Man City will be deemed not good enough by the board at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea returns to the pitch next Saturday for an FA Cup crown.
